Holy Thursday is The Ascension of our Lord, Jesus Christ. The Ascension of our Lord, Jesus Christ, is significant in Christian theology. It is the departure of Jesus from earth into the presence of God. According to the New Testament, the Ascension occurred 40 days after the Resurrection.
